Especially the pace bowling unit was enthusiastically praised by the officials of the member countries. The BCB president said, “Since joining the AGM, we have been hearing praise for our pace bowling. They see the contribution of the pace bowlers as an improvement in the Test win in New Zealand and ODI series win in South Africa. The officials of the two boards are saying, ‘If you lose with pace bowling, we will lose. Bangladesh has improved so much in pace bowling, it was not even imagined.’

They want to know from Papon how such a great improvement was possible. If they continue like this, Bangladesh will do well in the Test format as well.
