World Test Championship Grants Bangladesh $100,000

Bangladesh secured the ninth position among the nine teams in the Championship, with the final match scheduled to take place at The Oval in London from 7th to 11th June, featuring India and Australia.
The winners of the World Test Championship will be awarded a prize of $1.6 million, while the runners-up will receive $800,000.
The tournament prize money remains unchanged from the inaugural edition of the championship, the ICC World Test Championship 2019-21.
In the previous edition, led by Kane Williamson, the New Zealand team won the championship, earning $1.6 million in addition to the prestigious Mace trophy after defeating India by eight wickets in the final held in Southampton.
All nine participants of the ICC World Test Championship 2021-23 will share the $3.8 million prize purse. South Africa secured third place in the standings and earned $450,000.
England, who showcased an aggressive playing style and made a late resurgence in the two-year cycle, finished fourth on the table, receiving a reward of $350,000.
Sri Lanka, once in contention for a spot in the final before their series defeat in New Zealand, dropped to fifth place, with a share of $200,000 in the prize money.
