The ICC backed down in the face of India’s objection

Earlier, the ICC had announced that a qualifying round would be held first in the auction. After that, if necessary, the second phase of the auction will be held on the social site. It all depends on the ICC. Broadcasting companies had no clear idea about this method. As a result, it could not be decided how much money they would go to the auction with. This time the ICC has changed the condition and said that there are two periods of four years and eight years for the broadcast of the game in
The auction of broadcast rights for four years will start from Tk 11,000 crore. On the other hand, to get the broadcast rights for eight years, the companies will have to pay 2.8 times the amount. That is, the auction of broadcast rights for eight years will start from Tk 31,000 crore. The ICC has also said that it will be told who has paid how much money. If it is found that there is a difference of less than 10 percent between the highest bid and the next price, then the second round of the auction will start.
The ICC has said that on August 22, the broadcasting companies will have to submit the tender. The tender will be audited on August 26. Only then will it be understood whether there is a need for a second round of auction. India’s broadcasting companies are a bit happy after the ICC changed this condition.
