Terrible sea crossing by ferry, angry cricketers

The Tigers were devastated by a terrifying voyage of more than 5 hours. Captain Mahmudullah Riyad, pacer Shariful, wicketkeeper Nurul Hasan Sohan and several other cricketers fell ill after vomiting.
Every time their small ferry crashed into the 8-10-foot-high waves of the raging sea, they remembered the Creator. It is known that two days ago, a cyclone swept through this region of the Atlantic. That’s why the sea hasn’t calmed down yet. The waves were enough.
Many of the cricketers are angry at such a scary journey. One of the cricketers said, “If we get sick here, we will die, nothing will happen to anyone. ’
Another senior cricketer of the team said, “I have traveled to so many countries, this is the first time in my life. None of us are used to it. Now if someone gets seriously ill on the ferry, what will happen, the game is the next thing. The worst trip of my life. ’
Manager Nafees Iqbal also spoke about the plight of himself and the cricketers. The ferry is scheduled to reach Dominica via Martinek. But Nafees wants to go down to Martine. He kept saying we’d all go down to Martine. After talking to the board, arrangements were made for them to fly to Dominica from there.
During this time, the team leader Mahmudullah Riyad tried to talk to BCB president Nazmul Hasan on WhatsApp several times. But he didn’t get the connection. The flight ticket could not be confirmed. The Tigers have to travel on that ferry.
Nafees and Sohan became a bit of a normal at Martinek’s 40-minute break. But on the way to Dominica, Shariful fell ill again. Due to the shock of the waves, he became so restless in the ‘motion sickness’ in the big Shakeluni of the ferry that he put his face in polythene and vomited several times. At some point, he also took off his t-shirt to reduce his restlessness.
Sohel, the staff with the team, fell ill while vomiting. Tired, he fell asleep on the deck of the ferry. Riyad also bowed his head in his chair, tired.
Whether cricketers can overcome the stress of sailing before the start of the T20 series is a matter of concern now.
The first of the three-match T20I series against the West Indies will be played at 11:30 pm Bangladesh time on July 2 in Dominica. The second T20I will be played at the same time on the same ground the next day. The third T20I will be played in Guyana on July 7.
