South Africa beat the Netherlands by 146 runs in the last match of the series on Sunday (March 2). With this victory, South Africa won the three-match series 2-0. The first match of the series was abandoned due to rain. By winning this series, South Africa confirmed their direct participation in the World Cup. West Indies lost.
