Shoriful went to Windies to play in the second Test.
Shoriful left for St. Lucia at 7.30 pm on Monday to take part in the second Test of the series against the West Indies after recovering from a finger injury.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) said in a press release that Shariful would leave on Monday night to join the team before the second Test. He will join the team in St. Lucia.
The second and final Test of the series will start on June 24 in St. Lucia. Then there will be T20 and ODI series. Shoriful is in these two formats of limited overs.
Bangladesh lost by 7 wickets in the first Test in Antigua. Despite losing the team, the pacers have performed well. Khaled Ahmed has done a great performance. However, Mostafizur Rahman could not make an impact in that way. Shoriful may replace Mostafiz in the second Test.
