Shakib’s contribution began with a rapid 21-ball 30, propelling his team to a commendable total of 180 for five. Later, he showcased his bowling prowess, taking two wickets for a mere 10 runs in his three overs, as B-Love Kandy was bundled out for just 97 runs in 17.1 overs in Colombo.

Batting at the number three position, Shakib starred in a blistering 95-run fourth-wicket partnership with Tim Seifert, achieved in just 52 deliveries. Despite smashing two sixes, Shakib was unfortunate to be run out in the 18th over, missing out on a potentially more significant innings.

Tim Seifert played a commanding knock, contributing a 39-ball 74, featuring five boundaries and as many maximums, to help Galle Titans post a formidable total on the scoreboard.

Stepping into the bowling attack in the ninth over, Shakib began with a wide but swiftly made an impact, dismissing Asif Ali with his first legitimate delivery, leaving B-Love Kandy reeling at 46 for six in 8.1 overs. He continued his impact, claiming another wicket – that of Aamer Jamal in the 13th over.

With only a team-high score of 27 from 19 balls by Ashen Bandara, B-Love Kandy never looked in control of the chase, eventually falling well short of their target.
