World’s best all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has been nominated as the best cricketer of the month by the International Cricket Council (ICC). The names of the nominated cricketers were announced in a statement on Thursday afternoon.ICC has given this award to both categories of women and men cricketers. Along with Shakib, New Zealand captain Kane Williamson and United Arab Emirates batsman Asif Khan have been nominated as Cricketers of the Year. And the three nominees in the women’s category are Sivana Jimi, Raveena Oa, and Henriette Ismi.

Earlier, Shakib was nominated as the best cricketer of July 2021. Bangladesh and Shakib Al Hasan had a great month of March. The voting academy and fans will vote for the winner from this list. The Voting Academy is home to veteran journalists, ex-players, and broadcasters. They vote by e-mail, and 90 percent of the votes are in their hands. Only registered fans vote on the ICC website, their voting share is 10 percent.
