In an exciting development, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has given its approval to tour New Zealand for a white-ball series scheduled for early next year.

As per local media reports, the proposed series may comprise of either five T20 Internationals (T20Is) or three One Day Internationals (ODIs).

The New Zealand Cricket (NZC) board has proposed holding the series after Pakistan’s tour of Australia, which is set to conclude in January 2024.

The anticipated series between Pakistan and New Zealand is expected to kick off in the second week of January, right after the culmination of the three-match Test series between Pakistan and Australia on January 7, 2024.

This timeframe is ideal for New Zealand as it falls within a vacant period before their home series against South Africa in February.

Both the PCB and NZC will now collaborate closely to finalize the specific details of the series, including the number of matches and venues.
