Maxwell slipped in the yard while celebrating his birthday. It broke the fibula in his leg. He was taken to hospital for surgery.
Cricket Australia (CA) chief selector George Bailey expressed his regret over Maxwell’s accident. He said, “It is a very sad incident, I feel bad for Glenn as he has played well in the last few games, one of our members in white ball cricket. We are by his side for his recovery and rehabilitation.”
