Magala is returning to the national team after a year

Magala last played an ODI against India at home in January last year. He was then dropped from the team as he could not pass the fitness test. Finally, the pacer passed the fitness test. At the same time, his performance in the domestic tournament played a big role in returning to the team.
Magala is the third-highest wicket-taker so far in the ongoing SA20 in South Africa. The pacer returned to the national team again due to being in great form.
Csa’s national selection committee convener Victor Mpitsang said, “Magala has been performing well in the last few years. Earlier, there was a fitness problem and that is why he was dropped from the team.
South Africa and current ODI champions England will start the three-match ODI series in Bloemfontein from January 27. The next two ODIs will be played on January 29 and February 1 respectively.
