Bad news in the Pakistan camp ahead of the big tournament like the Asia Cup will start on August 27 in the United Arab Emirates. The team’s star pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi has been ruled out of the Asia Cup due to injury. 22-year-old young pacer Mohammad Hasnain has returned to the team instead.
Doctors said that Shaheen Afridi, who suffered a knee injury in the Sri Lanka series, will be out of action for the next 4-6 weeks.
Asif Ali, Haider Ali, Iftekhar Ahmed, and Usman Qadir will join the team from Pakistan in Dubai on Tuesday morning after the Babar Azam-led team, which is on a tour of the Netherlands, returns to Dubai.
