David Warner will play in Big Bash after 10 years

Australia’s star batsman David Warner last played in the Big Bash in 2013, for the Sydney Thunders. After 10 long years, Warner will again play in his country’s domestic T20 tournament. The cricketer, who was named the best player of the last T20 World Cup, has signed a contract with the Sydney Thunders for two seasons.
There were reports in the international media that Warner will play in the International T20 League of the United Arab Emirates without playing in the Big Bash.
However, proving that news to be baseless, the mercury batsman wrote the name of thunders. Warner will get 340,000 Australian dollars (about Tk 2.25 crore in Bangladeshi currency) as a player in the Platinum category in the Big Bash. Sydney Thunders will pay a part of this money, while the rest will be given by the Australian Cricket Board.
The left-handed opener will not play all the matches of this year’s Big Bash as he is playing for the Australian national team. Warner will play five matches after the Sydney Test against South Africa. He will then travel to India with the Australian team to play a four-match Test series.
