Bangladesh will host the 2024 Women’s T20 World Cup

Bangladesh is the host of the Women’s T20 World Cup. The Women’s T20 World Cup will be held in Bangladesh in September-October 2024.
The decision was taken at the ICC board meeting in Birmingham, England on Tuesday.
The ICC said the hosts had been finalized in a “fiercely contested bidding process”. Each bid was thoroughly reviewed by the ICC Board’s sub-committee, headed by Martin Snider. He was accompanied by Clare Connor, Sourav Ganguly, and Ricky Skerritt. The name Bangladesh came up there.
Bangladesh, however, has the experience of hosting the Women’s T20 World Cup. The BCB also hosted the girls along with the 2014 Men’s T20 World Cup. Australia was the champion in that event.
That is, after 100 years, the global competition is returning to the red-green country.
