Bangladesh Pakistan and New Zealand series schedule announced

The T20 World Cup will be held in Australia in October. Earlier, Cricket New Zealand has decided to host a T20 tri-series to prepare for the World Cup. Bangladesh and Pakistan were invited to play the series.
Bangladesh had already given their nod to play the series, but Pakistan was waiting for the England series scheduled to be confirmed at home in September. On June 26, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Ramiz Raja confirmed the country’s participation in the tri-series.

The tri-series will start with Bangladesh’s match against Pakistan at 9 am Bangladesh time on October 8. The Tigers will play against hosts New Zealand on October 10. Bangladesh will then play the remaining two matches of the first leg against New Zealand and Pakistan on October 13 and 14 respectively. The final will be on October 15. All the matches of the series will be played at Hagley Oval in Christchurch.
