Since there is an ODI series at the beginning, the cricketers of this edition are coming first. But not all are together. Because many of this squad just finished playing the series in New Zealand. Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, Washington Sundar, Rishabh Pant, Shardul Thakur, and Deepak Chahar have taken a flight to Dhaka from New Zealand. Captain Rohit and Virat Kohli along with the rest are scheduled to leave Mumbai and reach Dhaka at 6:40 pm today. For the first time since 2015, India is going to play a bilateral series with a full-strength team. The two-Test series is again part of the ICC World Test Championship.

The Indian team will have their first practice in Dhaka on Friday in Mirpur. The first two matches of the ODI series on December 4 and 7 are also there. The last ODI of the series will be played at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on December 10. The first Test on December 14-18 will also be held in Chittagong. The last Test in Dhaka is on December 22-26. Earlier in 2015, India lost the ODI series 2-1 to Bangladesh on the last bilateral tour. Mustafizur Rahman announced his debut in international cricket with that series. This time, the ‘A’ team of India is also touring Bangladesh at the same time. The first of the two four-day series is currently underway in Cox’s Bazar.
